Hey Barbie!

Wellll....I have to say I had a total blast designing this little number! I was so chuffed when Chelsea from Fika Florals asked me to jump on board and create some Barbie themed stationery for her London styled shoot.

To say I was in my element wouldn't cut it, I absolutely loved Barbie as a child and would spend a stupid amount of time down the giant pink isle at Toys R Us! So I channeled all of that nostalgic wonder into these designs while still trying to inject a little sophistication too to create something that Barbie herself would be happy to send to all of her guests and set the tone for her Malibu wedding.

Working from Chelsea's mood board I went for a mix of pinks and paired the modern shape of the invitation with a more retro patterned back print to marry together the rich history of the Barbie brand along with the more modern representation that has been propelled back into our lives following the release of the recent movie.
